Head Coach & Director Heather Minnis, Impact coach certified 12/2005, Director and Head coach since 2005
Coach Minnis began coaching volleyball in August 1998, where she coached the first Dickson County school volleyball team at Dickson Jr. High. She has coached 25 middle school seasons and this is her 18th travel season as a head coach and director. She has coached teams from 11u to 18u club and power.
Coach Jennifer Oliver, Impact Coach Certified
Coach Jennifer continues to learn the sport of volleyball, and we are excited by her enthusiasm for volleyball. She will be returning for her seventh season in 2023. She has coached two seasons as a 14u coach, one season as a 15u coach, one season as a 17u coach, two seasons as a 18u coach, and has been the Dickson Middle assistant coach for 8 seasons (2015,16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22).
Coach Alisha Tolley Baker, Impact Coach Certified
Coach Tolley Baker is excited to be a member of our Dynamite coaching staff. She has played volleyball for many seasons. She is in her fifth season as the DMS Volleyball Assistant Coach (2017, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22). She will be returning for her 6th season with DVC (2018 14u, 2019 17u, 2020 15u).
Coach Andrea Holley, Impact Certified
Coach Holley is the Harpeth Middle Head Coach. She has coached volleyball at Harpeth for 11 seasons. This will be her 4th season coaching for DVC. We look forward to her returning to our coaches for the 2023 season.
Coach Mallory Minnis, Impact Certified 2020
Coach Mallory played for Dickson Middle, Dickson County High School, and Dynamite Volleyball Club as a setter and right side from 4th grade through 12th grade. She is currently a Senior in college at Freed-Hardeman University. She is returning for her 3rd season as a head coach for 2023. (121 & 151 2020-2021; 13u 2022).
Coach Joani March , Impact Coach Certified 2021
Coach Joani played volleyball middle school, high school, and through college. she played as an outside hitter at David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. She was also a co-captain for her team.
Coach Joani is excited to join our program and we are excited to have her coaching her 2nd season with Dynamite for the 2023 season.
Coach Cierra Ramsey, Impact Coach Certified 2021
Coach Cierra played for Dickson Middle, Dickson County High School, and Dynamite Volleyball Club as a libero and DS. She is currently completing her elementary education licensure. We are excited for her to be returning to our gym and to be coaching with DVC.
Coach McKenzie Jenkins
Coach McKenzie played volleyball at Dickson Middle School,
DCHS, and travel volleyball with Dynamite as a libero and Defensive Specialist. She is currently a freshman in college. McKenzie was a player assistant coach last season, and we are glad to have her as a coach for our 2023 season.
Coach Anna Kate Humpreys
Coach Anna Kate played volleyball at Dickson Middle School,
DCHS, and travel volleyball with Dynamite Volleyball from 5th Grade through 12th grade as a middle, setter, and right side. She is currently pursuing her nursing degree. We are happy to have her as a coach for the 2023 season.
Coach Emily McCartney
Coach Emily played volleyball at Dickson Middle School, DCHS, and with DVC as an Outside, setter, and right side. She is a freshman in college. We are excited to add her to our coaching staff for the 2023 season.
Coach Julie Kaiser, IMPACT CERTIFIED
Recently leaving her many years as a Varsity coach at Vista High School in Vista, CA, Coach Julie has also been part of the USA Volleyball Pipeline helping to identify and train athletes nationwide who have shown the potential of developing into a national team member for the USA Olympic Volleyball Team. Over the past 20 years, Julie has coached club volleyball teams for all ages including the collegiate level club program. Club programs include San Diego Volleyball Club, Genuine Volleyball and Forza1 Volleyball.
Coach Julie is certified as a USA Volleyball CAP level three accredited coach as well as a long time IMPACT coaching instructor for USA Volleyball. She holds a certificate in the USA Volleyball Conditioning Accreditation Program as well. A long time member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association, Julie has provided coach training sessions at the AVCA national conventions and is a “mentor coach” helping coaches with requests for assistance in all aspects of coaching. She has been frequently published in Volleyball Magazine, USA Sports Performance and AVCA publications in the past.
As a player, Coach Julie played 2 seasons at her hometown university, Southern Oregon University before joining the US Marine Corps. She played 3 seasons on the All-Marine team and was was selected for the All-Armed Forces National team each year.
A new resident of White Bluff, Coach Julie and her husband are enjoying the Tennessee life and enjoying her weekend fun with the grandkids.
